Yes. Pets are allowed at the picnic as long as they are on a leash and you pick up after them. There will be numorous kids running around and playing. Safety comes first.
No. All beverages must be bought from concession stand or beer stand. This is a church function and all proceeds go back to the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.

Yes. You may bring a travel trailor/RV but there are no hookups for it. You also will have to park it near the cemetary where there are additional parking areas out in the open for larger vehicles.
All meal tickets are $10.00. There is ONLY ONE meal ticket for lunch. Dine-in & take-out use the same exact ticket. There are no child's plates this year.
No. We do not have a drive-thru at the St. John Picnic. If you would like to take home lunch plates you will have to park and then purchase meal tickets at the ticket booth and stand in the take-out line. Then once you get to the front of the line, they will give you your take-home plates in a plastic bag and then you can take them back to your vehicle.
Yes. St. Rose cooks hamburgers in the evening generally starting around 5:00 PM. You can also buy items from the concession stand to eat.
We serve lunch until they start running low on food. Usually if one item is out, they might add a little more of one of the other items.
We do not have a specific vegetarian meal available. We do sell non-meat products in the concession stand like nachos, pickles, and more. But as far as lunch or dinner goes we do not have any vegetarian meals prepared.
We accept 2 forms of payment at the St. John Picnic. 1.) Cash — 2.) Check. We do not have the capabilities to charge Debit or Credit cards. Concession stand, beer stand, meal tickets, country store, etc. all either take Cash or Check.
Yes. All of the bands are there for both listening to and dancing. The dance floor is outside underneath the pavilion, which has one of those giant fans.
The hall is air-conditioned but the dancing is held outdoors underneath the pavilion, which has one of those giant fans.
All of the bands determine the time in which they play. They alternate one after another. There is no specified timeframe for each band to play.
Yes. An officer will be present on the picnic grounds.
No. We provide a free fireworks show to the public and have fire trucks on stand-by for emergencies.
